Built for the SINAMICS S200 low-voltage motion stack
The 1FL2104-2BG01-1HC0 is a SIMOTICS S-1FL2 low-inertia servomotor, part of the 1FL2 family designed to drop directly into the SINAMICS S200 drive platform. The -1HC0 suffix carries the build options that show up first on the wiring diagram: 200 V 3AC supply, 0.75 kW rated power, 3000 rpm rated speed, 2.4 Nm continuous (M0=Mn, so the motor has no torque margin beyond rated — it will pull its full rated torque continuously rather than delivering a higher stall value).
Mechanical and feedback build
Shaft height 40 mm places this motor at the small-frame end of the 1FL2 line — appropriate for compact gantries, small-format pick-and-place stages, and indexing tables where inertia matching matters more than raw torque. The shaft carries a half-key per Tolerance N (positive-keyway tolerance fits the standard k6 coupling range) and ships without a holding brake, so vertical-axis applications need an external mechanical brake or a counterbalance strategy. Feedback is the 17-bit absolute single-turn hybrid encoder delivered through the AS17 hybrid connector — fine enough resolution for velocity-loop stability at 3000 rpm, and the single-turn nature means multi-turn absolute position has to come from the drive's battery-backed reference or a gearbox reference mark.
Sealing and duty environment
The motor carries an IP65 protection class with an oil seal, which keeps coolant and cutting-fluid splash out of the shaft seal — a sensible fit for machine-tool axes, food-and-beverage washdown zones, and any line where the motor sits below the workpiece. The 200 V 3AC supply rail aligns it with the SINAMICS S200 PN 200V line; pairing it to a 400 V-class drive requires a step-up transformer or a different motor variant.
Ordering and supply posture
Siemens lists the part as product class C — manufactured to order, non-returnable, no credit. That is the structural reason every quote carries an RFQ: there is no shelf stock to draw down, so availability and lead time are confirmed at quote time against the BOM quantity. Lifecycle reads current on the official record, and the part is built in the active SIMOTICS S-1FL2 production line. Compliance paperwork is straightforward: RoHS-compliant since 01-01-18, REACH Art. 33 candidate-list information available on request, and no export-control classification (AL:N / ECCN:N). Group code R220 and product group X0DK are the internal ordering handles Siemens uses for the BOM and for warranty registration.
