Sizing the 1FL2 against the S200 drive
The 1FL2104-4AG01-1HC0: SIMOTICS S-1FL2 servo, 1 kW rated power at a rated speed of 3000 rpm, with 3.2 Nm stall and rated torque — that 1:1 ratio between M0 and Mn tells you the constant-power breakpoint is not in this frame, so the motor holds torque across most of its working speed range without a field-weakening notch. It is matched to the SINAMICS S200 drive as part of the 1FL2 family, sized for a 200 V 3AC supply — make sure the drive firmware variant on the cabinet door lines up with the 1FL2 motor module profile before first commissioning, otherwise the encoder scaling will not initialize.
Mechanical and feedback package
Shaft height 40 mm with a keyed shaft to tolerance N and no holding brake — confirm the BOM really expects a non-brake variant, because adding a holding brake later means a different order code in the same family. AS17 bit absolute encoder on a hybrid connector — the single-cable hybrid carries both power and feedback, so the cabinet side only needs one connector type per axis instead of separate power and signal glands. IP65 with oil seal on the shaft pass-through — that seal is what keeps coolant out of the encoder bearings, so a washdown application is fine but a continuous oil-mist environment will eat the seal lip; inspect the shaft seal at every PM interval.
Sourcing the motor on the order line
Product class C indicates this is manufactured to order rather than taken from a finished-goods buffer, and the quantity unit is one piece — build the BOM around single-piece lines and confirm lead time against the RFQ, since factory slot allocation drives the delivery date, not shelf stock.
