1 kW / 3000 rpm low-inertia servo for the S200 drive line
The Siemens 1FL2205-2AF01-0SB0 is a SIMOTICS S-1FL2 low-inertia servomotor in the 48 mm shaft-height frame, sized for 1 kW continuous output at 3000 rpm with a 3.6 Nm standstill torque and 3 Nm rated torque from a 400 V 3AC supply rail, engineered to pair with the SINAMICS S200 drive family. The M0/Mn ratio of 3.6 Nm to 3 Nm is the figure that matters on the panel: the motor can hold roughly its rated torque at standstill, which is what lets the S200 deliver the punch needed for short index moves on a conveyor or pick-and-place axis without the current loop saturating at every direction change. Feedback is the AS21bit absolute single-turn encoder wired through the angular connector, and the shaft is a plain (un-keyed) cylindrical type with tolerance N — a clamping coupling or pulley fixation is the normal mounting method on the driven shaft.
No holding brake, IP65 with oil seal
This variant is built without a holding brake, which means vertical-axis applications need a mechanical brake elsewhere on the drivetrain, or a counterbalance — a holding-brake-equipped 1FL2 should be sourced as a different order code suffix if the axis can freewheel on power loss. Protection class IP65 with oil seal means the motor body and the shaft seal withstand low-pressure water jets and oil mist, which fits machine-tool and food-adjacent conveyor environments; it does not mean the motor is rated for high-pressure washdown, so the cable entry and connector face need their own sealing on the gland side.
Active production, made-to-order class C
Quantity unit is one piece per order; packaging is a single-piece carton at 382 x 222 x 240 mm, and export-control markings are AL:N / ECCN:N, which clears the standard cross-border paperwork without an export licence.
RoHS and REACH paperwork on record
Group Code R220 and Product Group X0DK are the Siemens-internal indexing keys for procurement and warranty lookup — they are not ratings, just the routing tags that tell the ordering system how to file and price the line.
