What this servomotor delivers on a rotating-equipment route
The Siemens 1FL2306-6AC01-0MB0 is a SIMOTICS S-1FL2 servomotor rated 1.75 kW at 400 V 3AC, spinning 2000 rpm nominal. Out here in the grease, that 8.8 Nm holding torque (M0) means it holds position on a conveyor or spindle without drifting when the drive drops out — no holding brake on this variant, so the load inertia has to be manageable or you add an external brake. IP65 with an oil seal means the motor body and shaft entry survive washdown and airborne cutting fluid — it will survive the route on a machine tool or packaging line where coolant spray is constant. The 65 mm shaft height and plain shaft (tolerance N) mate with standard couplings; no keyway, so the fit relies on a clamping hub.

Matching drive and encoder integration
Designed to pair with the SINAMICS S200 drive family. The AM21 bit absolute encoder (angular connector) gives single-turn position feedback — no need for a separate home switch on most pick-and-place or rotary indexing stations. The 21-bit resolution means under 0.0002 degree per count, tight enough for cam profiles on a packaging machine. No holding brake means the motor shaft spins free when power is off. If the vertical axis or gravity-loaded load needs to hold position at standstill, spec the braked variant or add an external spring-set brake on the coupling. The plain shaft (no key) accepts a clamping hub; torque transmission depends on the hub's grip, not a keyway shear.
