This order code ships as a pre-assembled combination of a 3RT1015-1AB01 contactor, a 3RV1011-1BA10 circuit breaker for short-circuit protection, and a 3RA1911-1AA00 link module. The circuit breaker provides the short-circuit protection, so no external fuses are needed for the motor branch. The motor protection is via a bimetal overload relay integrated into the assembly. The design allows for an auxiliary switch to be added if needed. Wire range for the main contacts accepts solid or stranded conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm², or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) for paralleled feeds. AWG equivalents are 2x (18 to 14).
