What This Load Feeder Packs
Rated for 2.2 kW at 400 V, it handles motor loads up to that power on a 400 V three-phase line, with a control supply accepting 200 V at 50 Hz or 200-220 V at 60 Hz. The integrated bimetal motor protection (type) provides thermal overload sensing, and the insulation voltage is rated 690 V, giving headroom above the operating voltage. Front protection is IP20, meaning it's touch-safe for panel installation but not rated for washdown environments — it belongs inside a cabinet.
Mounting and Wiring Reality
Accepts solid conductors 1-6 mm² (or 2x 1-2.5 mm², 2x 2.5-6 mm²) and stranded 1-6 mm²; AWG equivalents are 2x 14-10 for the main contacts. Clearance requirements: 30 mm upward, 10 mm forward, 9 mm backward, 0 mm downward, 30 mm to the side — the downward zero means it can butt against a rail end without extra space. Shock resistance 12.5g — robust for industrial panel vibration.
What's Inside the Package
This load feeder ships with a 3RT1024-1AN60 contactor, a 3RV1021-1GA10 circuit breaker, and a 3RA1921-1AA00 link module — all factory-assembled and wired internally. No digital inputs, no PROFIBUS or PROFINET protocol onboard — it's a pure electromechanical direct starter, not a networked motor starter. The no-load switching frequency is 15 operations per second, which is high for a contactor of this size — suitable for rapid cycling applications like indexing conveyors or packaging machine motions.
