What this SIRIUS reversing starter delivers
Rated at 0.25 kW at 400 V AC, this reversing starter is sized for small reversing motor loads — conveyors, gate drives, or any application where forward/reverse control is needed without a separate contactor pair and interlock wiring. The integrated bimetal overload relay protects the motor against sustained overcurrent, while the supplied 3RV10 circuit-breaker (3RV10 11-0JA10) handles the short-circuit interruption up to the device's rated breaking capacity.
The size S00 form factor (90 mm wide, 159 mm high, 75 mm deep) and snap-on fastening on 35 mm standard rail means it installs in the same DIN-rail footprint as other SIRIUS S00 components — no panel re-drilling if you're swapping from a different S00 starter. Mounting position is horizontal only, with 20 mm clearance required above and at the sides, 10 mm forward, and 9 mm backward for airflow and wiring access. Terminal capacity accepts solid or stranded conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm², with dual-wire capability (2x 0.75 to 2.5 mm²) for daisy-chaining control wiring — common in panel layouts where multiple starters share a common supply. The supplied contactor is a 3RT10 15-1AF02, the link module is 3RA19 11-1AA00, and the RH assembly kit is 3RA19 13-2A — all SIRIUS S00 components that are individually orderable for spares.
No PROFIBUS or PROFINET protocol onboard — this is a hardwired reversing starter with 0 digital inputs; all control is via the contactor coils.
