Direct online starter — SIRIUS S00, 60 kW
The 3RA2110-0BA15-1AP0 is a Siemens SIRIUS direct (on-line) starter, size S00, combining a contactor and overload relay in one assembly. The supplied contactor is the 3RT2015-1AP01, and the link module is the 3RA1921-1DA00 — the starter arrives as a matched set, ready to mount and wire. Trip class is CLASS 10, meaning it disconnects within 10 seconds under locked-rotor conditions — standard for protecting general-purpose motors driving pumps, fans, and conveyors.
Mounting and integration — DIN rail or screw, tight clearances
The fastening method is screw and snap-on mounting onto 35 mm DIN rail. Dimensions are 97 mm deep, 45 mm wide, 167 mm high — the S00 frame fits standard 45 mm-wide DIN rail slots. Clearance requirements: 50 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 20 mm at the sides, and 0 mm backwards. That backwards zero means it can sit flush against a panel backplate. Main circuit connections are screw-type terminals — no special tooling needed, just a standard screwdriver for the power and control wiring.
Environmental tolerance — rated for the heat, not the office
Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C, with storage and transport from -50 to +80 °C. That -20 °C low end matters if the panel sits in an unheated area during winter commissioning. Current draw at 50 Hz and 60 Hz is 0.25 A — a light control load that won't tax a 24 VDC or 230 VAC control transformer.
This is a standard catalog Siemens SIRIUS product, not a special.
