Clearance requirements: 50 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 20 mm at the side, 10 mm downwards, and 0 mm backwards — the back of the unit can sit flush against the panel backplate. Mounting position is vertical only — this matters for the bimetallic overload's thermal tracking; horizontal mounting shifts the trip curve.
Operating conditions and control voltage
Ambient operating range is -20 to +60 °C; storage and transport range is -50 to +80 °C — the unit can sit in an unheated warehouse or ship in winter without damage. The short-circuit trip is magnetic (instantaneous), and the overload release is thermal bimetallic — this is the standard combination for motor branch protection: magnetic clears faults, thermal tracks motor heating.
