SIRIUS S00 direct starter — what ships inside
The 3RA2110-0CE15-1BB4: This is a Siemens SIRIUS direct-on-line starter, size S00, built as a pre-assembled unit. It ships with the 3RT2015-2BB41 contactor and the 3RA2911-2AA00 link module already matched — no separate coordination exercise for the overload and short-circuit elements. The overload release is thermal bimetallic (Class 10), and the short-circuit trip is magnetic — both are integrated into the same housing. That means the starter handles both running overload protection and fault clearing without an external motor protection relay.
60 kW at 400 V — where this rating lands
That's fast enough to protect standard motors during a stall or jam without nuisance tripping on a normal start.
Panel fit and wiring — DIN rail, spring terminals
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail via screw and snap-on fastening, vertical position only. Clearance requirements: 50 mm above, 20 mm forward, 20 mm at the side, 10 mm below, and 0 mm behind. The zero rear clearance means it can sit flush against a backplate or busbar. Main current circuit connections use spring-loaded terminals — no screw torque to verify, just strip and push. Saves time on a multi-starter panel build.
Ambient limits and storage range
The temperature compensation is active across the full operating range, so the thermal overload setting stays accurate even in a hot enclosure.
