Active production — what that means for your BOM line
The 3RA2110-0DD15-1FB4: The 24 VDC coil and the 0.32 A AC-3 rating at 400 V mean this unit is sized for fractional-horsepower motors — think small conveyors, dosing pumps, or fan drives in a 400 V line. The 90 kW figure at 400 V is the maximum motor power the contactor can switch, not the continuous current rating; the actual load current must stay at or below 0.32 A in AC-3 duty.
Mounting and clearances — snaps onto 60 mm busbars
The 3RA2110-0DD15-1FB4 is designed to snap directly onto 60 mm busbar systems using the supplied 8US1251-5DS10 busbar adapter. Mounting position is vertical only. The physical envelope is 45 mm wide, 155 mm deep, and 203 mm high — fits a standard S00 slot in a SIRIUS distribution panel. Clearance distances are specified: 50 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 20 mm at the side, 10 mm downwards, and 0 mm backwards. These are the minimum free-air gaps needed around the starter for heat dissipation and arc containment — respect them in the panel layout.
Trip class and thermal environment
The thermal bimetallic overload compensates for ambient temperature changes between -20 °C and +60 °C, so the trip curve stays accurate across the panel's operating range. Operating temperature range is -20 °C to +60 °C; storage and transport range is -50 °C to +80 °C.
