It ships as a coordinated set: the supplied 3RT2015-2AP01 contactor, the supplied 3RV2011-0EA20 circuit breaker with thermal (bimetallic) overload and magnetic short-circuit trip, and the 3RA2911-2AA00 link module that ties them together electrically and mechanically. The busbar adapter 8US1251-5DT11 is also included, so this is a bolt-on motor branch ready for panel integration — no separate ordering of the contactor, breaker, or adapter.
Rated insulation voltage is 690 V, and the maximum AC-3 operating voltage is also 690 V — this covers 400 V and 480 V motor circuits common in North American and European panels. The operating frequency is 50/60 Hz, so it works on either line frequency without derating. The thermal overload is bimetallic, not electronic — it tracks motor heating via a physical bimetal strip. That is simpler and more rugged in dirty or high-vibration environments, but it has a narrower ambient compensation range than an electronic relay. The ambient compensation is rated for -20 to +60 °C operating, which covers most indoor panel conditions. Dimensions are 45 mm wide, 260 mm high, and 155 mm deep. The type of coordination (Type 1 or Type 2) is determined by the specific breaker-contactor pairing; this assembly uses the 3RV2011-0EA20 breaker, which is a standard S00 frame breaker.
The main current circuit uses spring-loaded terminals — no screwdriver needed for the power wiring. That speeds up panel wiring and reduces the risk of loose connections over time.
