The 3RA2110-0FA15-1AP6 is a Siemens SIRIUS non-fused motor starter, assembled as a direct starter in Size S00. It ships as a factory-matched set: the 3RT2015-1AP61 contactor, the 3RV2011-0FA10 circuit-breaker, and the 3RA1921-1DA00 link module, all pre-configured for a Type 2 coordination. Rated motor power is 120 W at 400 V, 180 W at 500 V, and 250 W at 690 V. The overload release is thermal bimetallic; the short-circuit release is magnetic. This combination provides both overload protection (heating curve) and instantaneous magnetic trip for fault currents. The contactor is electromechanical, rated for AC-3 switching duty up to 690 V.
Mounting and panel integration — 45 mm width, DIN rail snap-on
Width is 45 mm, depth 97.1 mm, height 167.2 mm. The unit snaps onto a DIN rail or can be screw-mounted with an additional push-in lug. Mounting position is vertical. Required clearances: 20 mm upward, 10 mm downward, 9 mm at the side, 0 mm forward and backward. These gaps allow airflow for the thermal overload and arc-fault venting from the circuit-breaker. In a crowded panel, the 45 mm width per feeder keeps the density reasonable for Size S00. AWG equivalents are 2× (20 to 16), 2× (18 to 14), or 2× 12. The auxiliary switch can be field-added.
Coil voltage and environmental ratings
This covers nominal 208–240 V supplies with tolerance. Rated insulation voltage is 690 V; surge voltage resistance is 6 kV. Ambient operating range is -20 to +60 °C; storage range is -50 to +80 °C; transport range is -55 to +80 °C. Pollution degree 3 means the unit is rated for industrial environments with conductive pollution.
