S00 direct starter — snaps onto 60 mm busbars
The Siemens 3RA2110-0HS15-1BB4 is a SIRIUS direct-on-line starter in size S00, designed to snap directly onto 60 mm busbar systems — no DIN rail adapter needed, no extra bracketry. It ships as a pre-assembled unit with the contactor (3RT2015-2BB41), link module (3RA2911-2AA00), busbar adapter (8US1251-5DS11), and circuit-breaker (3RV2011-0HA20) already matched. That means one order code covers the full motor branch: isolation, short-circuit protection, and overload protection in a single footprint.
CLASS 10 trip and spring-loaded terminals
The short-circuit trip is magnetic, so instantaneous overcurrents above the pickup level open the circuit-breaker without waiting for the thermal element. Rated power is 180 W at 400 V (0.8 A at 480 V), and the maximum AC-3 switching voltage is 690 V — this starter covers IEC motor ratings up to that voltage class. Both the main current circuit and the auxiliary/control circuit use spring-loaded terminals — no screw torque to check, no loosening under vibration. The control supply is 24 V DC (24... 24 V), common for PLC-driven panels. Operating frequency is 50/60 Hz, so it works across both mains standards without a setting change.
Clearance and mounting — fits a tight panel
Physical dimensions: 155 mm deep, 45 mm wide, 212 mm high. The mounting position is vertical only. Clearance requirements are specific: 50 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 0 mm backwards, 10 mm downwards, and 20 mm at the side. That 0 mm backwards clearance means the back of the unit can sit flush against the panel backplate — useful when you're squeezing into a shallow enclosure. The operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C; storage and transport tolerate -50 to +80 °C.
