SIRIUS S00 direct starter — what's in the box
This is a Siemens SIRIUS 3RA2110-1FE15-1AP0 direct (on-line) starter, size S00, rated 1.5 kW at 400 V. It ships as a pre-assembled unit containing a 3RT2015-2AP01 contactor and a 3RA2911-2AA00 link module — no separate picking of components needed for a standard DOL motor start.
CLASS 10 trip and motor protection
This is the standard protection class for general-purpose induction motors driving pumps, fans, and conveyors where the start-up transient is brief. For longer acceleration times (high-inertia loads like centrifuges), a CLASS 20 or CLASS 30 starter would be needed. The unit is designed for vertical mounting and accepts screw or snap-on fastening onto 35 mm DIN rail. Clearance requirements: 50 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 20 mm at the side — no space needed backwards. The footprint is 45 mm wide × 198 mm high × 97 mm deep, which fits a standard S00 slot in a Siemens SIRIUS panel layout.
Termination and wiring
Main current circuit connections use spring-loaded terminals — push-in for solid or ferruled stranded wire, no screw torque to verify.
