S00 frame, CLASS 10, and what that means for motor protection
The 3RA2110-1GA15-1AP0 is a size S00 direct-on-line starter — the smallest frame in the SIRIUS family, meant for fractional-horsepower motors up to about 0.25 kW at 400 V. That's fast enough to protect most standard AC induction motors from stall or jam conditions without nuisance tripping on a normal start. The supplied contactor is a 3RT2015-1AP01, and the link module is 3RA1921-1DA00 — both factory-matched.

At 45 mm wide, 167 mm tall, and 97 mm deep, this starter eats minimal DIN space — you can pack several into a standard 600 mm-wide enclosure. The mounting position is vertical, and the required clearances around the unit are 50 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 20 mm at the side, 10 mm downwards, and 0 mm backwards. Plan for those gaps to keep airflow and wiring access clean.
