45 mm wide, snaps onto 60 mm busbars — not DIN rail
The 3RA2110-1HH15-1AP0: This is a busbar-mounted direct-on-line starter, not a DIN-rail unit. The fastening method is for snapping onto 60 mm busbar systems. The supplied busbar adapter is part number 8US1251-5DT11. Width is 45 mm, height 260 mm, depth 155 mm. The 155 mm depth is the dimension that catches panel layouts — it's deeper than a standalone contactor because the overload relay and link module sit behind the contactor on the busbar adapter. Clearance requirements: 50 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 20 mm at the side, 0 mm backwards. Mounting position is vertical only.
Rated motor power is 3 000 W at 400 V, 50/60 Hz. At 480 V the rated current is 8 A. This is standard for general-purpose motor starting — not for high-inertia loads like large fans or centrifuges that need Class 20 or 30.
Supplied as a kit — contactor, link module, busbar adapter
The starter ships as a pre-assembled kit: contactor 3RT2015-2AP01, link module 3RA2911-2AA00, and busbar adapter 8US1251-5DT11. The contactor switching contact is electromechanical. Main circuit terminals are spring-loaded — push-in wiring for solid or ferruled stranded conductors. No screw torque to verify, which saves time on repetitive builds. Overload release design is thermal bimetallic. The circuit-breaker size is S00, matching the load feeder size.
Active production — no phase-out signal
Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C with temperature compensation across the same range. Storage and transport range is -50 to +80 °C. Substance prohibitance date is 10/01/2009 — the part complies with RoHS substance restrictions as of that date.
