Direct starter for motor branch circuits
The Siemens 3RA2110-1KA17-1AP0 is a SIRIUS direct-on-line starter in size S00, combining a contactor and overload relay into one unit for controlling and protecting three-phase motors. The Class 10 trip characteristic means it will disconnect the motor within 10 seconds under locked-rotor conditions, matching the thermal capacity of standard general-purpose motors.
Panel layout and wiring constraints
At 45 mm wide, 97 mm deep, and 167 mm tall, the starter fits the S00 frame standard — leave 50 mm clearance above and 20 mm to the side for air circulation and tool access. Mount vertically only — the operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C, with storage from -50 to +80 °C.
The supplied contactor is 3RT2017-1AP01 and the link module is 3RA1921-1DA00 — these are the same subcomponents used across the SIRIUS S00 family, so spares are interchangeable.
