16 A AC-3, CLASS 10 — what it means for motor starts
The 3RA2110-4AS18-1BB4: Maximum operating voltage is 690 V AC-3, covering 400 V and 480 V systems common in North American and European panels. The horsepower table spans 1 hp at 110/120 V up to 14 A at 480 V and 11 A at 600 V — useful for matching NEMA motor frames.
Busbar snap-on and panel fit
Snaps directly onto 60 mm busbar systems — no DIN rail adapter needed. The 45 mm width and 155 mm depth fit standard S00 feeder slots; vertical mounting position is required for proper thermal convection through the overload block. Clearance requirements: 50 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 20 mm at the side, and 10 mm downwards — plan the gland plate and wireway accordingly. Backwards clearance is 0 mm, so the unit can sit flush against the backplane. Main circuit terminals are spring-loaded — no screw-torque check needed, but the stripped length must match the cage entry. The supplied contactor is 3RT2018-2BB41 and the link module is 3RA2911-2AA00; the BOM is self-contained for a direct-on-line start.
Lifecycle and sourcing — current production, quoted to order
The 24 V coil is standard for control panels with 24 VDC power supplies. Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C; storage and transport range is -50 to +80 °C.
