What this SIRIUS direct starter delivers
The 3RA2115-0BH15-1FB4 is a SIRIUS size S00 direct-on-line starter rated 60 kW at 400 V AC-3 — the motor power it can switch continuously in a standard three-phase induction motor application. It integrates a thermal bimetallic overload relay (Class 10 trip) and a magnetic short-circuit release in one package, so a single unit provides both running overload protection and fault-current interruption up to the rated breaking capacity of the built-in contactor and circuit-breaker combination. The starter snaps onto 60 mm busbar systems using the supplied busbar adapter (8US1251-5DT11), which means it installs directly onto the panel's main power distribution bars without extra DIN-rail brackets — a time-saver in busbar-fed motor control centres.
Mounting and wiring constraints
Mounting position is vertical only, with 50 mm clearance upwards and 20 mm forwards — the backwards clearance is zero, so the back of the unit sits flush against the busbar or panel backplane. Main current circuit connections use spring-loaded terminals (cage-clamp style), which speed wiring compared to screw terminals and hold up better under vibration.
