It's built in Size S00, which is the smallest frame in the SIRIUS family, so it fits tight panel layouts. It ships with a 3RT2015-1AP61 contactor and a 3RV2011-0EA15 circuit breaker already linked by a 3RA1921-1DA00 link module. That means you're not piecing together three separate catalog numbers — it arrives as one assembly ready to wire. The overload release is thermal bimetallic, CLASS 10 trip class. That's fast enough to protect a motor during a stall without nuisance-tripping on normal startup inrush.
Mounting and panel fit — the dimensions that matter
At 45 mm wide and 97.1 mm deep, this starter takes up one standard modular DIN space. Height is 167.2 mm. It snaps onto a DIN rail or can be screw-mounted with an additional push-in lug — the fastening method gives you options if the panel layout is tight. Clearance requirements: you need 20 mm above, 10 mm below, and 9 mm to the side. No clearance needed forward or backward. That 20 mm upward gap is for the arc chute ventilation — don't skimp on it or the contactor may not cool properly under sustained load. Mounting position is vertical only. If you lay it sideways, the bimetallic overload won't track motor heating the same way — the datasheet derating assumes upright orientation.
