The 3RA2115-0ED15-1AK6: This is a non-fused direct starter, size S00, that ships as a pre-assembled unit. It includes a 3RT2015-1AK61 contactor, a 3RV2011-0EA15 circuit breaker, a 3RA1921-1DA00 link module, and a 8US1251-5DS10 busbar adapter. The overload release is thermal bimetallic, trip Class 10 — so it protects standard squirrel-cage motors during start-up without nuisance tripping on normal inrush. The short-circuit trip is magnetic, giving you both thermal and magnetic protection in one package. Rated for 690 V at AC-3 duty, 3 poles, with a surge voltage resistance of 6 kV. The auxiliary switch extension is supported — you can add contact blocks for status feedback or interlocks.
Mounting and panel fit — S00 footprint
Size S00 means a 45 mm wide body, 200 mm tall, 155.1 mm deep — it snaps onto standard 60 mm busbar systems. Mounting position is vertical only; clearance above is 20 mm, below 10 mm, sides 9 mm, nothing forward or backward. That tight footprint fits well in crowded panels where space is at a premium. The degree of pollution rating is 3, meaning it's suitable for industrial environments with conductive dust or occasional condensation.
Environmental limits — storage, transport, operation
Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C; storage is -50 to +80 °C; transport can handle -55 to +80 °C. That covers most plant-floor conditions from cold warehouses to hot enclosures. Rated for 50/60 Hz operation with a control supply voltage of 93.5–121 V at 50 Hz and 96–132 V at 60 Hz. Power consumption at 400 V is 90 W, at 500 V is 120 W, at 690 V is 180 W.
