SIRIUS 3RA2 non-fused motor starter, Size S00
The Siemens 3RA2115-0FA15-1BB4 is a SIRIUS non-fused motor starter, assembled as a direct starter in Size S00. It integrates a 3RT2015-1BB41 contactor and a 3RV2011-0FA15 circuit-breaker with a thermal bimetallic overload relay and magnetic short-circuit trip, all pre-configured for motor starting and protection. The 24 VDC coil draws 4 W holding power, which keeps the control transformer sizing straightforward in a 24 VDC control scheme.
Panel fit and mounting
Snap-mounted to DIN rail or screw-mounted with an additional push-in lug; the vertical mounting position is specified. Width is 45 mm, depth 97.1 mm, height 167.2 mm — the S00 frame fits standard 45 mm-wide feeder slots in a motor control centre. Clearance requirements: 20 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 9 mm at the side, and zero forwards or backwards. This is tight enough to allow side-by-side mounting in a multi-feeder panel without excessive spacing. AWG equivalents are 2× (20 to 16) and 2× (18 to 14), plus 2× 12 for the contactor side. The auxiliary switch extension is available as an option.
