What this SIRIUS 3RA2 motor starter is
The Siemens 3RA2115-0GD15-1AP6 is a SIRIUS 3RA2 non-fused motor starter — a direct starter in size S00, combining a contactor and a thermal-magnetic overload relay in one package. It ships with the contactor 3RT2015-1AP61, the link module 3RA1921-1DA00, the circuit-breaker 3RV2011-0GA15, and the busbar adapter 8US1251-5DS10. That means it arrives as a ready-to-mount assembly, not a pile of loose parts. Rated for 690 V at AC-3 duty and 180 W at 400 V, this starter handles motor loads up to that power level. The coil operates on 187…242 V at 50 Hz and 192…264 V at 60 Hz, covering the common 230 V control supply range across both line frequencies.
This starter snaps onto 60 mm busbar systems — the standard metric busbar pitch in European-style panels. No additional mounting plate is needed; the fastening method is designed for that busbar grid. Dimensions are 155.1 mm deep, 45 mm wide, and 200 mm tall. The width is a single 45 mm module, so it occupies one slot on a 60 mm busbar system. Mounting position is vertical only, and the unit needs 20 mm clearance above, 10 mm below, and 9 mm at the sides for airflow and wiring access. Main contact wiring accepts 0.5…4 mm² stranded, or 2× (0.75…2.5 mm²) for paralleled feeds. AWG equivalents are 2× (20…16) for the contactor side and 2× (18…14) or 2× 12 for the main circuit.
