Direct starter, size S00 — what's inside
The 3RA2115-0KA16-2BB4 is a SIRIUS direct online starter in size S00, combining a contactor, overload relay, and circuit-breaker in one assembly for motor starting and protection up to 370 W at 400 V. It ships with a 3RT2016-1BB42 contactor, a 3RA1921-1DA00 link module, and a 3RV2011-0KA15 circuit-breaker — all pre-assembled and wired internally, so you mount and connect the main and control wires.
Trip class and protection design
The overload release is thermal bimetallic (ambient-compensated -20 to +60 °C), and the short-circuit trip is magnetic — a combined design that handles both sustained overloads and fault currents in one device.
Mounting and panel fit
Mounts vertically on 35 mm DIN rail (screw and snap-on) or directly with screws. The 45 mm width and 97 mm depth fit standard S00 feeder slots; clearance needs: 50 mm above, 20 mm front, 10 mm below, 20 mm at the sides. Main and auxiliary/control circuits use screw-type terminals — no special tooling needed for field wiring.
