Direct starter for 60 mm busbar systems
The 3RA2115-0KH15-1FB4 is a Siemens SIRIUS direct (on-line) starter — a pre-assembled combination of a contactor, thermal overload relay, and circuit-breaker in one S00 frame. The unit snaps onto 60 mm busbar systems (the fastening method is for snapping onto 60 mm busbar systems), saving panel space versus individual components wired together. The supplied busbar adapter 8US1251-5DT11 handles the mechanical and electrical connection to the busbar.
Supplied components and termination
This starter ships as a coordinated set: contactor 3RT2015-2FB41, link module 3RA2911-2AA00, and circuit-breaker 3RV2011-0KA25. Both the main current circuit and the auxiliary/control circuit use spring-loaded terminals — no screw torque verification needed, which speeds panel wiring. The overload release is thermal (bimetallic) with magnetic short-circuit trip, Class 10 trip class.
Mounting clearances and environment
Dimensions are 155 mm deep × 45 mm wide × 260 mm high. The required clearances around the unit: 50 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 20 mm at the side, 10 mm downwards, and 0 mm backwards. The zero backward clearance means it can sit flush against a panel backplate — useful when gland-plate space is tight. Rated for vertical mounting position only. Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C with 10 to 95 % relative humidity. Storage and transport range is -50 to +80 °C. The 24 V DC coil is temperature-compensated across the operating range.
