S00 direct starter on 60 mm busbars
The 3RA2115-1DH15-1FB4 is a Siemens SIRIUS S00 direct-on-line starter — a pre-assembled combination of a contactor and overload relay in one unit, designed for snapping onto 60 mm busbar systems. It ships with the 3RT2015-2FB41 contactor and the 3RA2911-2AA00 link module already integrated, so the panel builder gets a tested assembly that reduces wiring and commissioning time.
AC-3 motor rating and trip class
The AC-3 rating of 3.2 A at 400 V defines the maximum motor full-load current it can switch — this is the number to match against the motor nameplate FLA, not the thermal overload setting. The control coil is rated 24 V DC (24... 24 V), so the starter integrates directly into a 24 VDC control circuit common in modern PLC-driven panels — no separate AC control transformer needed.
Mounting and panel integration
Snaps onto 60 mm busbar systems — the fastening method is a spring-loaded clip that engages the busbar profile without tools, saving DIN-rail space in high-density motor control centres. Dimensions are 45 mm wide, 260 mm high, and 155 mm deep — the width is the critical panel fill factor; 45 mm per starter fits multiple units side-by-side on a busbar section. Clearance requirements: 50 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 20 mm at the side, and 0 mm backwards — the zero backward clearance means it can be mounted flush against a panel backplate. The main current circuit uses spring-loaded terminals — no screw tightening, just push the stripped conductor in, which speeds up wiring and eliminates loose-terminal callbacks.
