The Siemens 3RA2115-1EA15-1BB4 is a non-fused direct motor starter from the SIRIUS family, Size S00, combining a 3RT2015-1BB41 contactor and a thermal bimetallic overload relay in a single assembly. The 24 V DC coil keeps control power consistent across PLC-driven panels without an intermediate relay.
Trip class and protection design
The magnetic short-circuit trip handles fault clearing independently of the bimetallic thermal element, so a phase-to-phase fault is interrupted before the overload heater sees the full let-through energy.
