S00 frame, 12 A AC-3 — what ships in the carton
The 3RA2115-1KA17-1BB4 is a SIRIUS direct-on-line starter — the contactor and thermal overload are integrated into one S00-frame unit that measures 45 mm wide, 97 mm deep, and 167 mm high. It ships with the supplied contactor 3RT2017-1BB41 and link module 3RA1921-1DA00 already assembled — no separate overload relay to order, no loose wiring between the two.
At 480 V and 600 V the rating holds at 11 A, so the starter handles the same motor frame across common North American voltage bands without derating.
Mounting and clearances — vertical DIN-rail, 50 mm above, 20 mm front
Minimum clearances: 50 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 20 mm at the side, and 0 mm backwards — the S00 frame can sit flush against the back panel. Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C with temperature compensation active across that band — no derating needed for ambient up to 60 °C, but storage and transport limits are -50 to +80 °C.
