The 3RA2120-1JD24-0AP6 is a SIRIUS non-fused direct motor starter, size S0, combining a 3RT2024-1AP60 contactor and a thermal bimetallic overload relay in a single assembly.
Panel fit and mounting
Width is 45 mm, depth 155 mm, height 260 mm — the S0 footprint fits alongside other SIRIUS feeders on a 60 mm busbar system, snapping on without tools. Mounting position is vertical only; clearance above and below is 30 mm and 10 mm respectively, with 10 mm forward and 9 mm to the side. The supplied link module 3RA2921-1AA00 bridges the contactor and overload, and the circuit-breaker size is S00, meaning the upstream short-circuit protection device fits the same compact rail.
Operating envelope and wiring
Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C, storage -50 to +80 °C, transport -55 to +80 °C — suitable for unheated plant floors and shipping in temperate climates. Degree of pollution 3 means the starter handles conductive dust and occasional condensation; install in a panel with at least IP54 ingress protection to maintain the rating. Main contact wiring accepts 1 to 10 mm² stranded, or 2x (2.5 to 6 mm²) — enough for the full current range without paralleling conductors.
