The 3RA2120-4BH27-0BB4 is a SIRIUS direct-on-line starter designed to snap onto 60 mm busbar systems, not a traditional DIN-rail mount — the fastening method and product design both specify this busbar interface, so panel layout starts with the busbar grid, not a DIN rail. Horsepower equivalents span 3 hp at 230 V up to 15 hp at 460/480 V, covering common North American and IEC motor frames in a single starter package.
What ships in the box — contactor and link module included
This is a factory-assembled combination starter: it ships with the 3RT2027-2BB40 contactor and the 3RA2921-2AA00 link module pre-integrated. The main circuit wiring lands on spring-loaded terminals — no screw torque to verify, just strip and push in. Physical envelope is 45 mm wide, 165 mm deep, and 260 mm tall. The vertical mounting position is specified; clearance requirements are 50 mm upward, 20 mm forward, 10 mm downward, and 20 mm at the side — no clearance needed behind the unit.
