29 A AC-3 at 400 V — the rating that decides the motor
The 3RA2120-4EH27-0BB4: At 480 V the same unit carries 27 A, and at 600 V it also carries 27 A — the current limit is the contactor's thermal capacity, not the voltage. The control coil is 24 V DC, which matches standard PLC output cards; no AC control transformer needed in a DC-powered panel.
S0 footprint and busbar snap-on mounting
The starter is size S0 with a width of 45 mm, a height of 260 mm, and a depth of 165 mm. It snaps directly onto 60 mm busbar systems — no extra mounting plate or DIN-rail adapter for busbar-fed panels. The mounting position must be vertical; horizontal mounting changes the thermal characteristics of the overload relay. Clearance requirements: 50 mm above, 20 mm in front, 10 mm below, and 20 mm at the sides. Back clearance is 0 mm — it can sit flush against the back panel. The main circuit uses spring-loaded terminals, so you land the power wires without a screwdriver — good for vibration resistance and faster wiring.
Active production and sourcing posture
For BOM planning: this is a standard SIRIUS S0 direct starter, not a safety-rated or fieldbus-enabled unit (no PROFIsafe, no PROFINET IO —,). It is a conventional hardwired starter for full-voltage starting.
