SIRIUS reversing starter — S00 frame, busbar-mount
The Siemens 3RA2210-0CH15-2BB4 is a SIRIUS reversing starter in size S00, combining a supplied contactor (3RT2015-2BB42), link module (3RA2911-2AA00), and RS assembly kit (3RA2913-1DB2) into a single unit that reverses motor direction without external interlock wiring. It snaps onto 60 mm busbar systems, saving DIN-rail space in panels where the busbar itself serves as the mounting and power distribution backbone.
Clearance and mounting — vertical only, busbar snap-on
The unit measures 155 mm deep, 90 mm wide, and 260 mm high, with mandatory vertical mounting position — horizontal mounting is not permitted per the design. Required clearances: 50 mm upward, 32 mm forward, 10 mm downward, 10 mm at the side, and 0 mm backward — the back face sits flush against the busbar.
Termination and environmental limits
Main circuit connections use spring-loaded terminals — no screw torque to set, but the stripped wire length must match the cage depth for a gas-tight joint. Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C; storage and transport range is -50 to +80 °C, so the unit can sit in an unheated warehouse without issue. Rated for 50/60 Hz supply; the thermal overload release compensates across the -20 to +60 °C operating band, maintaining trip accuracy without manual adjustment.
