SIRIUS reversing starter, size S00 — what's in the kit
The 3RA2210-0DS15-2BB4 is a Siemens SIRIUS reversing starter, size S00, designed as a complete motor-reversing assembly for 60 mm busbar systems. It snaps onto the busbar without additional DIN-rail hardware — the fastening method is for snapping onto 60 mm busbar systems, and the design is specifically for that mounting scheme. The supplied contactor is a 3RT2015-2BB42, the link module is 3RA2911-2AA00, and the circuit-breaker is 3RV2011-0DA20. A busbar adapter (8US1251-5DS11) and an RS assembly kit (8US1250-5AS10) are included — this is a bolt-on reversing package, not a pile of loose parts.
Trip Class 10 and motor ratings — what they mean for the line
The overload release is thermal bimetallic with a magnetic short-circuit trip, rated Trip Class 10. At 400 V the rated value is 90 W; at 480 V the rated current is 0.32 A. The maximum AC-3 rated voltage is 690 V. These figures define the motor load it can reverse — a small pump or fan motor in the sub-0.12 kW range at 400 V, with the 690 V ceiling covering 480 V and 575 V line supplies common in North American panels. The coil is rated 24 V DC (24... 24 V). The operating frequency is 50... 60 Hz. The operating temperature range is -20... +60 °C, with storage and transport limits of -50... +80 °C — the thermal bimetallic element compensates across the operating band.
Dimensions are 155 mm deep, 90 mm wide, 212 mm high. Mounting position is vertical. Clearance requirements: 50 mm upwards, 32 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 10 mm at the side, 0 mm backwards — the zero backward clearance means it sits flush against the busbar backplane, saving depth in a shallow enclosure. The supplied contactor and circuit-breaker are both size S00, so the entire reversing assembly shares the same footprint and busbar tap-off spacing.
