The 3RA2210-0ED15-2AP6: This is a fully assembled non-fused reversing motor starter from the SIRIUS 3RA2 family, size S00. It ships with the supplied contactor (3RT2015-1AP62), link module (3RA1921-1DA00), busbar adapter (8US1251-5DS10), and RS assembly kit (3RA2913-1DB1) — everything needed to drop into a panel without sourcing sub-components separately. The reversing configuration means two contactors interlocked for forward/reverse motor direction control, with a single thermal overload relay (bimetallic) covering both directions.
690 V rated insulation, AC-3 duty to 690 V
Rated insulation voltage is 690 V, with AC-3 switching rated to the same 690 V maximum. This covers 400 V and 690 V industrial networks without derating — common in European panel builds where the line-to-line voltage at the motor terminals can hit 690 V on a 400/690 V supply. Operating frequency is 50/60 Hz, with the coil rated 187–242 V at 50 Hz and 192–264 V at 60 Hz. The voltage tolerance covers standard European (230 V) and North American (240 V) control circuits within the same device. Thermal overload release is bimetallic — adjustable, resettable, and matched to the motor full-load current. The short-circuit trip is magnetic, so instantaneous protection on hard faults while the thermal element handles sustained overloads.
Snap-on busbar mounting, vertical only
Fastening method is designed for snapping onto 60 mm busbar systems — the standard Siemens SIRIUS mounting rail for distributing three-phase power across multiple feeders. No DIN rail required; the busbar adapter (supplied) clips directly onto the 60 mm flat busbar. Mounting position is vertical only — the bimetallic overload relay relies on natural convection for accurate tripping, so horizontal or inverted mounting will shift the trip curve. Envelope dimensions are 155.1 mm deep, 90 mm wide, 200 mm tall, with 20 mm clearance needed above and 10 mm below for wiring and heat dissipation. AWG equivalents are 2×(20–16) or 2×(18–14) plus 2×12. The terminal layout is standard for size S00 — screw-clamp with wire entry from the front.
