Motor ratings and trip class for reversing duty
The 3RA2210-0HH03-0SB4 is a SIRIUS reversing starter in Size S00, combining two contactors and a thermal overload relay in a single unit that reverses a three-phase motor. The 24 V coil is suitable for control circuits common in PLC-driven panels; the operating ambient range of -20 to +60 °C covers most indoor industrial environments without derating.
Mounting on 60 mm busbars and clearances
This starter is designed for snapping directly onto 60 mm busbar systems — no DIN rail adapter needed. The vertical mounting position is specified; the unit occupies 90 mm width, 260 mm height, and 173 mm depth. Clearance requirements: 50 mm upwards, 32 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 10 mm at the side. Backwards clearance is 0 mm, so the back of the starter can sit flush against the panel backplane. Main circuit connections use spring-loaded terminals — no screw torque checking, which speeds wiring in panel builds and reduces loose-connection callbacks.
Thermal overload design and switching contacts
The overload release is thermal bimetallic — it tracks the motor's I²t heating curve directly, providing accurate protection without the drift of electronic units over temperature. The switching contacts are electromechanical, rated for the AC-3 duty cycle. The supplied contactor is 3RF3403-1BD04 and the link module is 3RA2911-2AA00 — these are the factory-matched components for the reversing assembly, ensuring coordination between the contactors and the overload.
