What this reversing starter is
The 3RA2210-0JD15-2AP6 is a SIRIUS non-fused reversing motor starter, size S00, combining a reversing contactor, a thermal bimetallic overload relay, and a magnetic short-circuit trip in one pre-assembled unit. It ships with the supplied contactor 3RT2015-1AP62, circuit-breaker 3RV2011-0JA10, busbar adapter 8US1251-5DS10, and RS assembly kit 3RA2913-1DB1 — the panel builder gets a matched set, not a pile of loose parts.
Trip Class 10 and motor power limits
For high-inertia loads that need longer start times, Class 10 is too fast and the starter will nuisance-trip. The rated operational voltage ceiling is 690 V AC-3, and the unit operates on 50/60 Hz supplies with a control voltage range of 187–242 V at 50 Hz and 192–264 V at 60 Hz.
Mounting and panel fit
Mounts vertically by snapping onto 60 mm busbar systems — no DIN rail adapter needed. The physical envelope is 155.1 mm deep, 90 mm wide, 200 mm high, with clearance requirements: 20 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 9 mm at the side, and zero forwards or backwards. The size S00 load feeder and circuit-breaker share the same frame size, so the assembly stays compact within the busbar footprint.
Environmental and compliance
Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C; storage range is -50 to +80 °C; transport range is -55 to +80 °C. Pollution degree 3 means it tolerates conductive pollution in industrial environments. Substance prohibitance date of 03/01/2017 indicates RoHS compliance per the EU directive — the unit is free of restricted substances as of that date.
