Busbar-mounted reversing starter for tight panels
The 3RA2210-0JH15-2AP0: This SIRIUS reversing starter snaps onto 60 mm busbar systems, saving DIN-rail space in the enclosure — the 90 mm width and 260 mm height fit into a standard distribution board layout. The vertical mounting position is mandatory; clearance requirements are 50 mm upwards, 32 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 10 mm at the side — factor these into the gland plate and cable routing before the build.
Rated 690 V maximum in AC-3 duty, this starter switches motor loads up to 250 kW at 400 V — the AC-3 rating governs the making and breaking of squirrel-cage motors during running, not just the continuous current. The supplied contactor is a 3RT2015-2AP02 and the link module is a 3RA2911-2AA00 — the assembly is factory-matched, so the thermal and magnetic coordination between the contactor and overload is already validated.
Termination and environmental envelope
Main current circuit uses spring-loaded terminals — no screw torque to verify, but the stripped length and ferrule size must match the terminal spec to avoid loose connections under vibration. Operates from -20 to +60 °C ambient; storage and transport range is -50 to +80 °C. The temperature compensation is active across the full operating range, so the trip curve stays within tolerance without manual adjustment.
