1.6 A AC-3 at 400 V — what that means on the line
The 3RA2210-1AE15-2BB4: The 1.6 A at 400 V works out to roughly 0.75 kW (1 hp) motor, consistent with the 1 hp rating at 460/480 V and 575/600 V. For a 1.6 A motor, the thermal memory tracks both running and cool-down periods, so a hot restart won't catch you off guard.
Panel fit and mounting — DIN rail or screw, your call
Mounts either by snapping onto 35 mm DIN rail or with screws — the same part covers both, so you don't need a separate adapter for a screw-down panel. The 90 mm width, 204 mm height, and 97 mm depth fit a standard S00 footprint; plan for 50 mm clearance above, 32 mm in front, and 10 mm on the sides and below for airflow and wiring access. The supplied contactor is a 3RT2015-2BB42 and the link module is a 3RA2911-2AA00, so the reversing interlock is built into the assembly, not something you wire up from scratch.
Active production — no lifecycle surprises
That means you can spec it into a new BOM without worrying about a last-time-buy window closing mid-project. The 24 V DC coil voltage is common across the SIRIUS family, so panel spares can be shared with other S00 contactors in the same cabinet. RoHS compliance date of October 1, 2009 is on file — the part meets the EU substance restrictions.
