What this reversing starter delivers — and what it doesn't
The 3RA2210-1EA15-2AP6 is a SIRIUS non-fused reversing motor starter in size S00 — a self-contained assembly that combines a contactor pair, overload relay, and reversing interlock in one package. The 'non-fused' designation means it expects upstream short-circuit protection (a circuit breaker or fuse) — the starter itself provides only overload protection. Supplied with a 3RT2015-1AP62 contactor and 3RA1921-1DA00 link module, so it's a drop-in reversing pair, not something you wire up from loose parts.
Ratings that decide the fit
The 1.5 kW at 400 V rating is the AC-3 (motor switching) power; at 500 V it handles 2.2 kW, and at 600 V the current limit is 4 A. Coil voltage is 187–242 V at 50 Hz and 192–264 V at 60 Hz — a dual-frequency coil that covers the common 208–240 V control transformer range.
Panel space and mounting
Dimensions are 170 mm high, 90 mm wide, 97.1 mm deep — size S00 footprint. Snaps onto 35 mm DIN rail or screws to a backplate with the included push-in lug. Mounting position is vertical only; the clearance requirements are 20 mm upward, 10 mm downward, and 9 mm at the sides — tight enough for dense panel layouts.
Lifecycle and sourcing
Compliance documentation includes RoHS/REACH substance prohibition dated 03/01/2017. The degree of pollution is 3 (industrial environment with conductive pollution), so it's rated for use in control panels without additional conformal coating.
