Reversing starter in the SIRIUS S00 frame
The 3RA2210-1ED15-2AK6 is a Siemens SIRIUS non-fused reversing starter — a factory-assembled combination of a contactor, overload relay, and link module in one package, sized S00. It's built for reversing motor control in a single DIN-rail or busbar footprint.
Mounting and panel fit — busbar snap-on
This starter snaps onto 60 mm busbar systems — no DIN rail adapter needed if your panel uses that busbar pitch. The mounting position must be vertical; horizontal mounting isn't supported here. Dimensions are 200 mm high, 90 mm wide, and 155.1 mm deep. Clearance requirements: 20 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 9 mm at the sides, and zero forwards or backwards. That zero forward/backward clearance means you can butt it against the backplane or enclosure wall without derating.
Electrical ratings and duty
Rated insulation voltage is 690 V, with the AC-3 maximum operating voltage also at 690 V. Motor power ratings at common line voltages: 1 500 W at 400 V, 2 200 W at 500 V, and 3 000 W at 690 V. For 230 V single-phase applications, it's rated 0.75 hp. The degree of pollution is 3, so it's suited for industrial environments where conductive dust or occasional condensation is present — typical for motor control centers and panel shops.
Environmental and lifecycle
Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C, with storage and transport from -50 to +80 °C. That covers unheated warehouses and shipping through temperature extremes.
