Reversing starter in a 90 mm footprint
The Siemens 3RA2210-1FD15-2AP6 is a non-fused reversing motor starter from the SIRIUS family, Size S00, designed for direct-on-line reversing of three-phase motors up to 690 V AC-3. It ships as a factory-assembled unit including the 3RT2015-1AP62 contactor and the 3RA1921-1DA00 link module, saving panel build time over discrete component wiring.
Mounting and panel integration
Snaps directly onto 60 mm busbar systems without tools — the integrated latch engages the busbar profile and holds the starter in vertical orientation. The 90 mm width and 155.1 mm depth fit standard 200 mm tall enclosures; clearance requirements are 20 mm upward, 10 mm downward, and 9 mm at the side for airflow and wiring access.
Rated output and motor matching
At 400 V, the starter is rated for 1.5 kW motor output; at 480 V it draws 4.8 A, and at 600 V it draws 4.55 A — these are the AC-3 utilization category values for reversing duty. Horsepower ratings span from 0.17 hp at 110/120 V up to 3 hp at 460/480 V and 575/600 V, covering common North American motor frames in the sub-5 hp range. The coil is rated for 50 Hz at 187–242 V and 60 Hz at 192–264 V — a single coil covers both 200 V and 230 V line voltages without a tap change.
