Reversing starter, S00 frame, Class 10 — what ships in the box
The 3RA2210-1GA15-2AP6 is a SIRIUS non-fused reversing motor starter in size S00, meaning it combines two contactors with a mechanical interlock and a thermal overload relay in one assembly for forward/reverse control of a three-phase motor. It ships with a 3RT2015-1AP62 contactor and a 3RA1921-1DA00 link module already integrated — the kit is complete for a reversing start function; no separate interlock or wiring of a reversing pair is needed.
Motor power coverage and voltage assignments
At 400 V AC-3, the starter is rated for 2 200 W (approx. 3 hp) motor output; at 480 V it handles 4.8 A, and at 600 V it handles 6.1 A — the current ceiling rises with voltage, so confirm the motor FLA against the applicable line voltage row. The AC-3 rated voltage maximum is 690 V, so the starter can be used on 400 V, 480 V, 600 V, and 690 V line-to-line systems without derating the switching capacity.
Mounting and panel fit — DIN rail or screw-mount
Envelope dimensions: 170 mm height, 90 mm width, 97.1 mm depth — the width is the same as a standard S00 contactor, so it fits in a 90 mm-wide DIN-rail slot with the reversing pair stacked vertically. Clearance requirements: 20 mm above, 10 mm below, 9 mm to the side, 0 mm forward and backward — plan the enclosure depth and wireway spacing accordingly, especially if mounting multiple starters in a row.
Environmental limits and compliance
Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C; storage range is -50 to +80 °C; transport range is -55 to +80 °C — the starter can be stored in unconditioned warehouses but must be within the operating band when powered. Degree of pollution 3 means it is rated for conductive pollution environments (typical in industrial control panels without climate control) — no additional conformal coating is required for normal factory-floor conditions. Substance prohibitance date is 03/01/2017 — the product complies with RoHS and REACH substance restrictions as of that date; current compliance documentation is available on request.
