What this reversing starter is
The 3RA2210-1HH15-2AP0 is a Siemens SIRIUS reversing starter, size S00 — a factory-assembled combination of a contactor pair and overload relay in one housing, wired to reverse a three-phase motor by swapping two phases. It ships with the 3RT2015-2AP02 contactor and the 3RA2911-2AA00 link module already integrated, so it saves panel wiring time versus building a reversing starter from discrete components. Rated for motor loads up to 0.25 kW at 230 V (50/60 Hz), with horsepower ratings climbing to 5 hp at 575/600 V — the actual load limit depends on the supply voltage and the motor full-load current.
Mounting and panel fit
Designed for snapping onto 60 mm busbar systems — the fastening method is a spring clip that engages the busbar rail, no tools needed for installation. Mounting position is vertical only, with 50 mm clearance required above, 32 mm in front, 10 mm at the sides, and 10 mm below — no clearance needed behind the unit since it mounts on the busbar face. Dimensions are 155 mm deep, 90 mm wide, 260 mm tall — the width is narrow enough to fit in a standard 600 mm-wide enclosure with room for additional feeders alongside.
Termination and wiring
Main current circuit uses spring-loaded terminals — push-in termination for solid or ferruled stranded conductors, no screwdriver needed for the power connections. Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C, with storage and transport limits from -50 to +80 °C — suitable for unheated warehouses and truck transport in temperate climates.
