SIRIUS S00 reversing starter — what fits and what doesn't
The 3RA2210-1JE16-2BB4: This is the Siemens SIRIUS reversing starter in size S00 — a pre-assembled unit that combines two contactors with a mechanical interlock and a link module, so you get forward/reverse motor control in one DIN-rail footprint. The supplied contactor is 3RT2016-2BB42 and the link module is 3RA2911-2AA00, meaning the reversing pair is factory-matched and tested as an assembly. Coil voltage is 24 V DC. The enclosure dimensions are 90 mm wide × 204 mm high × 97 mm deep. Clearance requirements: 50 mm above, 32 mm in front, 10 mm to the side, and 10 mm below — no clearance needed behind the unit. The 90 mm width is the key constraint for a multi-starter panel row.
Active production — no lifecycle surprises
The main circuit connection uses spring-loaded terminals — no screw torque to verify, which speeds panel wiring and reduces rework on the line. Supplied as a complete reversing starter assembly; the contactor and link module are included and pre-interlocked.
