Reversing starter, S00 frame — what it carries
The 3RA2210-1KA17-2AP6: This is the SIRIUS 3RA2 reversing motor starter in Size S00 — a pre-assembled unit that combines a contactor pair and overload relay in one housing for forward/reverse motor control. It ships with the 3RT2017-1AP62 contactor and 3RA1921-1DA00 link module integrated, so you get a single order code instead of piecing together three separate catalog numbers. The S00 frame keeps the footprint tight at 90 mm wide, 170 mm tall, and 97.1 mm deep — fits standard 35 mm DIN rail or can be screw-mounted with the push-in lug. Vertical mounting only, with 20 mm clearance above and 10 mm below for wiring and heat dissipation.
Motor ratings across common line voltages
Rated for AC-3 switching up to 690 V. At 400 V it handles 5.5 kW (7.5 hp); at 480 V it delivers 11 A; at 600 V it also delivers 11 A. For lower voltages: 3 hp at 200/208 V and 220/230 V, 2 hp at 230 V, and 0.5 hp at 110/120 V. This covers most North American and European motor nameplates without needing a different starter frame. Coil voltage range is 187–242 V at 50 Hz and 192–264 V at 60 Hz — a standard dual-frequency control transformer feeds it directly.
Class 10 trip, pollution degree 3 — field conditions
Degree of pollution 3 means the unit is rated for conductive environments (condensation, light dust) typical of industrial panels. Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C; storage from -50 to +80 °C. The -55 to +80 °C transport range covers cold-weather shipping without special handling.
Current production — sourcing posture
RoHS compliance date listed as 03/01/2017 — the unit meets EU substance restrictions from that date forward.
