Reversing starter for busbar mounting
The Siemens 3RA2210-4AD18-2AP0 is a SIRIUS reversing starter in the compact S00 frame, designed to snap directly onto 60 mm busbar systems — no DIN rail adapter needed for that busbar pitch. It ships with the 3RT2018-1AP02 contactor and the 3RA1921-1DA00 link module pre-assembled, so you're wiring a single unit, not piecing together a reversing pair from loose parts. Rated 14 A at 480 V and 11 A at 600 V, with a CLASS 10 trip curve that matches standard NEMA and IEC motor protection requirements for general-purpose induction motors. The trip class means it will let the motor through starting current without nuisance tripping, but still protect against locked-rotor conditions within 10 seconds at cold start.
Panel fit and clearances
The envelope is 155 mm deep, 90 mm wide, and 204 mm tall — the width is tight for a reversing starter, which is the point of the S00 frame. Mounting is vertical only, with required clearances: 50 mm upwards, 32 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 10 mm at the side. That forward clearance matters for the screw-terminal wiring access on the main current circuit.
Lifecycle and ordering
The supplied contactor (3RT2018-1AP02) and link module (3RA1921-1DA00) are also current-production SIRIUS components, so spares and replacement parts are straightforward to source separately if needed.
