SIRIUS reversing starter, S00 frame, Class 10
The Siemens 3RA2215-0DA15-2AP6 is a non-fused reversing motor starter from the SIRIUS family, size S00, designed for electromechanical switching with a thermal bimetallic overload relay and magnetic short-circuit trip. It ships as a pre-assembled unit including the 3RT2015-1AP62 contactor, the 3RA1921-1DA00 link module, and the 3RV2011-0DA15 circuit breaker — a single order code covers the reversing starter package.
Mounting and panel integration
The starter snaps onto a DIN rail (35 mm) or can be screw-mounted using the additional push-in lug. Mounting position is vertical only. Dimensions are 170 mm height, 90 mm width, and 97.1 mm depth — the width is the critical panel-space dimension for multi-starter layouts; the depth leaves clearance behind a standard 120 mm deep enclosure backplate. Clearance requirements: 20 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 9 mm at the side, and zero forwards or backwards. The 9 mm side gap is tight — adjacent starters or other DIN-rail devices need that minimum air space for heat dissipation from the bimetallic overload and for wiring access to the main terminals.
Active production and sourcing
The supplied components (contactor 3RT2015-1AP62, link module 3RA1921-1DA00, circuit breaker 3RV2011-0DA15) are individually orderable as spares, but the 3RA2 package is the factory-assembled reversing starter with coordinated thermal and magnetic protection — replacing individual parts in the field is possible but the factory coordination is the intended configuration.
