The Siemens 3RA2215-0EA15-2BB4 is a SIRIUS non-fused reversing motor starter in size S00, designed as a factory-assembled unit that integrates a contactor, a thermal overload relay, and a circuit-breaker into one package. It ships with the 3RT2015-1BB42 contactor, the 3RV2011-0EA15 circuit-breaker, and the 3RA1921-1DA00 link module — the three components that make up the reversing starter function.
Electrical ratings and coil circuit
Rated for AC-3 duty up to 690 V maximum, the starter handles motor loads at 400 V (90 W), 500 V (120 W), and 690 V (180 W) — the power ratings scale with voltage per the AC-3 switching category for starting and disconnecting squirrel-cage motors. The magnet coil is 24 V DC, drawing 4 W holding power — a low DC holding consumption that reduces heat in the panel compared to AC coils, but requires a DC supply rail or a rectifier module in the control circuit.
