Reversing starter for tight panels — S00 frame, busbar snap-on
The 3RA2215-0JD15-2AK6 is a SIRIUS non-fused reversing motor starter in the S00 frame — a compact reversing assembly that combines a contactor, thermal overload, and magnetic short-circuit release in one unit that snaps onto 60 mm busbar systems. Rated for AC-3 duty up to 690 V, it delivers 250 W at 400 V, 370 W at 500 V, and 550 W at 690 V — the power rating climbs with line voltage, so match the motor nameplate to the supply side.
Supplied components — what arrives in the assembly
The starter ships with a 3RT2015-1AK62 contactor, a 3RA1921-1DA00 link module, an 8US1251-5DS10 busbar adapter, and a 3RA2913-1DB1 RS assembly kit — everything needed to wire and mount the reversing pair onto the busbar. AWG equivalents are 2×(20–16) and 2×(18–14) for the contactor side.
Mounting and environmental limits
Mounting is vertical only, with clearance requirements: 20 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 9 mm at the sides, and 0 mm forwards/backwards — the busbar snap-on eliminates rear clearance concerns. Dimensions are 200 mm height, 90 mm width, 155.1 mm depth — the S00 frame keeps the footprint small for high-density busbar layouts. Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C; storage -50 to +80 °C; transport -55 to +80 °C. Pollution degree 3 (conductive pollution or dry non-conductive that becomes conductive) — suitable for industrial control panels without climate control.
